The aim of the Fund is to secure pensions for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign nationals and stateless persons living in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Fund’s major tasks are as follows: to attract depositors, form pension assets, keep record of pension contributions on individual pension accounts; to personify distribution of investment revenue; to ensure safety of pension accumulations; to exercise control over the KUPA activities; to pay out pensions as prescribed by the pension legislation.
