Whole owned subsidiary "KAZNET JSC "KAZAKTELECOM" Ltd. was founded in June 1998, with a view of providing a full service package in the telecommunication field and establishing Integrated National Data Network within the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Company presents the trade mark “Kazakhstan Online”. Initial amounts of investments totalled $8 mln.
The company was transformed into Data Network Administrations JSC "KAZAKTELECOM" in July 1999. Based on the experience and technical knowledge of their specialists, “Kazakhstan Online” presents on Kazakhstani data transmission market the most up-to-date technologies world-wide available. It includes ADSL- the newest technology for the Internet access, Virtual Private Network, Frame Relay- most cost-efficient technology for data transmission and clear digital channels.
