Festival "Asia Voice" http://voiceofasia.actis.kz/ Over the course of the past ten years the international music festival “Asia Dausy” has become classic. Its main intention is to inspire musicians to take a closer look on their folk culture and musical traditions of their nation. This interest should be expressed not through performing the old traditional melodies, but rather through creating their modern interpretation. Today the festival is the most popular cultural event of Kazakhstan: for one week the rhythm takes over the life of the whole country. It attracts guests from all over the world - during the ten years the stage of “Asia Dausy” has seen musicians from 52 countries and has heard performances on more than 70 different languages.
